Beginner Bike Tours:
Historic Rail Trail: Enjoy a mild dirt trail that is great for families or anyone wanting a leisurely bike ride through the scenic countryside. The biking tour begins in Park City and ends in the town of Wanship, resulting in a total ride length of 13 miles of flat to mildly downhill terrain. Afterwards, the riders enjoy snacks and drinks and are shuttled back to their Park City hotel. Rail trail bike tours take about 2-2 1/2hrs including transportation and are a great mountain bike ride for beginners, families with small children and those more relaxed individuals.
Deer Creek: This mountain bike ride is just slightly more aerobic and technical than the rail trail, but still easy enough for beginners. The ride runs for 9 miles along the shoulder of the Deer Creek Reservoir where you will find our shuttle van waiting for you. If you choose to ride longer, this bike tour can be done as an out and back. The tour usually lasts 3-4 hours, including transportation to and from Park City.
Beaver Creek Trail: Here is another phenomenal setting for a mountain bike ride; the trail is a 2-3 foot wide dirt trail with a small amount of climbing and a handful of moderate rocks. Nestled in the Uinta National Forest and paralleling the Mirror Lake Highway, you will find this ride to be a natural treat! This mountain bike tour can be done as a one way or out and back and usually lasts 3-4 hours including transportation to and from Park City.
City Biking Tours: If you are looking to avoid the dirt but still want to ride a bike in the mountains, this is the perfect tour for you! We will pick you up and shuttle you the top of Deer Valley, where we will ride down Royal Street, on paved roads, and onto Historic Main Street in Park City. You will enjoy the breathtaking views of Park City’s mountain biking without all of the dirt. In town we will stop for lunch and then continue down a paved path by the City Park and out to the historic McPolin Barn, near The Canyons Resort.
