If you are looking to escape the bustle of skiers, traffic and the city for a few hours, join us on a backcountry cross country ski tour in Park City or on the outskirts of town. This is your opportunity to travel the same way the mountain men and early miners used to, on a pair of cross-country skis. On each tour we will introduce you to different parts of the Uinta National Forest and other gorgeous wildlife areas surrounding Park City.
Nordic skiing is a great exploratory opportunity for participants of all experience levels. Your Park City cross country skiing trip can be a slow paced means of traveling through the snow or an extremely rewarding aerobic workout; it all depends upon what you are looking for in your custom outing. Cross Country Ski tours are family friendly, great for individuals and couples and a unique activity for corporate groups as well. In order to give you the most rewarding experience we assure you a custom cross country ski tour and only pair you with people who fit your same skill level; in fact, on most occasions tours will be private.
We will pick you up from any lodging location in Park City, Utah and take you to one of our many cross country ski trails throughout the area. Some trails are groomed and some are not. Your tour will include transportation, cross country equipment, a professional and personable guide, snacks and water. Your guide will continue to provide instruction on basic cross country ski skills as you need it throughout the day.
Our Cross Country Ski tours usually last approximately 4 hours, including transportation to and from your Park City hotel. We will provide you with Atomic, Rossignol and Salomon Nordic touring skis, boots and bindings; we do not provide skate skis.
If you are looking for something a little off the beaten path, cross country skiing lunch tours and evening tours can be arranged by speaking with one of our friendly and knowledgeable staff.
