Park City Mountain Biking
The secret is out. Park City has over 400 miles of single track trails, and they are waiting for you, no matter your skill level. We will work with you to determine your skill level and interests based on three options, described below. We will then customize a private, guided mountain bike excursion. Our mountain bike tours are always private so we can provide the best possible level of service to you.
Our Park City mountain biking tours include 2016 Scott Genius full suspension mountain bikes, helmets, snacks, sodas, and waters. Our guide-to-client ratio is 6:1 or less on the beginner rides and 5:1 or less on the advanced rides. We will provide SPD or eggbeater pedals for anyone who requests them. We do not have bike shoes and ask that you bring your own. You are also welcome to bring your own pedals if you would like to do so. Our staff is excited to have you join us soon for a day of Park City mountain biking!
1) Beginner Bike Rides
Historic Union Pacific Rail Trail
Enjoy a mild dirt trail that is great for families or anyone wanting a leisurely bike ride through the scenic countryside. The biking tour begins in Park City and ends in the town of Wanship. This results in a total ride length of 13 miles of flat to mildly downhill terrain. Afterwards, the riders enjoy snacks and drinks and are shuttled back to their Park City hotel. Rail trail bike tours take about 2-2 1/2 hours. This includes transportation time. This is a great mountain bike ride for beginners, families with small children and those more relaxed individuals.
Beaver Creek Trail
Here is another phenomenal setting for a mountain bike ride. The trail is a 2-3 foot wide dirt trail with a small amount of climbing and a handful of moderate rocks. Nestled in the Uinta National Forest and paralleling the Mirror Lake Highway, you will find this ride to be a natural treat! This mountain bike tour can be done as a one-way or out-and-back and usually lasts 3-4 hours including transportation to and from Park City.

Now that you are here, you think you might be able to find it all with just a map. Think again. The Park City trails are complex and take years of riding to learn. Which trail is the best to climb? Best to descend? Which way do you go at the junction? Don’t let all the options get the best of you, you don’t want to miss the best ride by making the wrong decision.
